IDPhotoApp Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 28, 2026

IDPhotoApp is an on-device ID photo editor. User-selected photos, face position data, and person segmentation masks are processed locally on the user's device and are not uploaded, retained, sold, or shared with third parties.

Photos and Exported Images

IDPhotoApp accesses the photo library only when the user chooses a photo to edit or chooses to save an exported image. User-selected photos are processed locally on the device for cropping, background replacement, compression, print layout, and export.

Exported images are saved to the user's photo library only when the user chooses to save them. IDPhotoApp does not upload selected photos or exported images to a server.

Face Data

IDPhotoApp uses Apple Vision on the user's device to locate one face in a user-selected photo and to generate a person segmentation mask. The app uses the face rectangle, eye line, chin point, and segmentation mask only to compose an ID photo: automatic cropping, head alignment, background replacement, clothing-template positioning, preview rendering, and export.

IDPhotoApp does not perform face recognition, identity matching, biometric identification, authentication, or comparison against any database.

Face Data Retention

IDPhotoApp does not retain face data.

Face geometry and segmentation masks are kept only in device memory during the current edit session. They are stored temporarily in memory so the app does not need to run face detection and segmentation again for every background, clothing, or adjustment change. This temporary in-memory use is necessary to provide fast local editing and preview rendering.

The temporary face geometry and segmentation mask are discarded when the user leaves or closes the editor. They are not written to disk, saved to the photo library, uploaded to a server, or stored indefinitely.

Face Data Sharing

IDPhotoApp does not share face data with third parties.

The app does not send photos, face landmarks, face geometry, segmentation masks, biometric data, or generated images to any server or third-party service. Because no third party receives face data from IDPhotoApp, no third party stores face data from IDPhotoApp.

The app uses StoreKit for the optional Pro in-app purchase. StoreKit does not receive the user's photo or face data from this app.

Data Collection and Tracking

IDPhotoApp does not collect personal data from users for tracking. The app does not sell user data and does not use photos, face data, or exported images for advertising or cross-app tracking.
